Alton, IL - Imperial Manufacturing Group Donates Tissues to Alton School District
On October 15, 2024, Imperial Manufacturing Group donated $1,800 to Alton Community Unit School District #11 (ACUSD11) to help purchase tissues for classrooms across the district. Employees raised the funds through a cornhole tournament, with Imperial matching the total amount.
“This donation reflects our commitment to the Alton community, where many of our employees live,” said Angela Kruse, HR Generalist at Imperial. “We’ve been part of this community since 2016, and giving back is important to us.”
Imperial has a history of supporting ACUSD11 through various annual donations, including hygiene products, socks, underwear, and earbuds during remote learning. The initiative highlights the dedication of Imperial’s employees, many of whom are parents of ACUSD11 students.
Kruse coordinated the donation with Kara Twichell, secretary to the superintendent, who expressed the district’s gratitude: “This support makes a big difference, easing the burden on parents to provide essential supplies.”
Students from the Early Childhood Center attended the check presentation, celebrating Imperial’s ongoing partnership with the district.
