North American Occupational Safety and Health Week - 2019

The goal here at Imperial during Safety and Health Week is to focus on our employees, partners and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community. From May 5-11 2019, workplaces across North America will be celebrating North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week with activities that raise awareness of, and educate on, the importance of injury prevention. Health and safety committees have an important part to play in creating and maintaining safe workplaces.

Safety remains a contributing factor to our success at Imperial. This year, we made significant strides with safety in the sense of highlighting the wave of the future as it pertains to health and safety. We invested in safety leadership training, developed policies and procedures, as well as complimenting the existing Health and Safety team. We appreciate our Employees for their commitment and dedication to an injury free work environment. All of our locations proved that we are able to achieve an Injury Free work environment. Safe Production is our top priority, and it is only achievable if we all continue to stay focused and support each other.
